Returning to Audio Forum after his previous appearance, Julijan presented updates and insights related to Youlean Loudness Meter 2 and current industry trends. His talk focused on loudness measurement standards, practical metering workflows, and the increasing relevance of formats such as Dolby Atmos.

By combining technical explanation with real-world use cases, Julijan helped demystify loudness concepts that many audio professionals rely on daily.

Drawing on his Primetime Emmy Award–winning work on John Adams and multiple international nominations, Marc offered practical insights into workflow organization, creative problem-solving, and collaboration within large post-production teams.

His session gave attendees a clear picture of the expectations, challenges, and evolving standards of professional sound mixing in modern television.

Student films represent the starting point for many professionals working in audio today. Supporting the work of emerging filmmakers is essential for the long-term development of the audio industry and for building practical experience among young sound designers.

As part of Audio Forum’s ongoing collaboration with the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, the conference program includes student film screenings that highlight the creative and technical outcomes of this 75-year-old educational institution.

In addition to film screenings, selected works were accompanied by live commentary from the films’ sound designers, offering insight into the creative process and production challenges.
