Audio Forum 2014

May, 28 – 30, 2014 | Faculty of Dramatic Arts
Once the first Audio Forum was over, it was clear that we need to keep the ball rolling. The value of the opportunity to make direct contact with people from the industry with extensive work histories is simply priceless. So, Audio Forum 2014 had to be bigger and better.

Audio Forum was originally conceived as an extracurricular activity for students of the Department of Sound Recording and Design at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts. However, in 2014, there was a need to increase the event’s scope and reach. So, for the first time ever, there was a sponsor involved, the event accepted audience from beyond the Faculty and the attendance increased.

This was the first time we had speakers coming from abroad, which made Audio Forum 2014 particularly attractive. The speaker lineup consisted of the famous music producer Nikša Bratoš, the acclaimed acoustics and audio technics duo Dr. Dragana Šumarac-Pavlović and Dr. Miomir Mijić and the Avid’s representative Ansgar Liem.

Lastly, it was a good opportunity to test the Allen&Heath GSR-24 mixer, a fresh arrival at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts at the time.
